Celebrate the 25th Anniversary season of the Bravo! – Vail Valley Music Festival
with Anne-Marie McDermott, Artistic Director
Saturday, July 7

Arrive in Vail and check in to the beautiful Manor Vail Lodge where a delicious breakfast will be provided daily. The evening kicks off with an 8:30 p.m. welcome party with Anne-Marie McDermott and Mike Lubin in their Vail condo.
Sunday, July 8
Start the morning off at the Vail Farmer’s Market and Art Show on Meadow Drive. A picnic supper precedes a performance at the outdoor Gerald R. Ford Amphitheatre (walking distance from hotel). Enjoy a performance by the Philadelphia Orchestra with newly appointed Music Director Designate, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, conducting Tchaikovsky’s 6th Symphony – in a concert that also features pianist Kirill Gerstein (performed at the 2007 Mainly Mozart Festival).
Monday, July 9
In the morning, travelers will ride a gondola to the top of the mountain in Lionshead Village for an 11:30 a.m. guided Wildflower Walk (or explore the mountain on your own!). That evening, attend an exclusive musical soirée, A Gypsy Affair, at a private residence featuring Anne-Marie McDermott. Soiree includes cocktail reception and a concert, followed by dinner (dress code is “Mountain Elegant”).
Tuesday, July 10
Travelers will enjoy the day on their own: hiking, browsing art galleries, golfing, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, or visiting Beaver Creek. That evening, the group is invited to a patron reception prior to a performance of Bravo Chamber Music, “Big Music for Little Bands,” featuring members of the Philadelphia Orchestra at Vilar Center in Beaver Creek. Dinner will follow the concert.
Wednesday, July 11
Return to San Diego.
